Week One

Jan 9, 2023    Coach Jess

1. STAY HYDRATED - We will be drinking water only from 5am-5pm make a habit of keeping water on hand and consider setting alarms to remind you to drink your water throughout the day!

2. Fresh is always better - for example (fresh fruit, vegetables, juice, etc. but frozen is an acceptable alternative.

3. Prepare ahead of time! - Failure to prepare is preparing to fail. Meal preparation for yourself for the week, or if you have kids preparing their meals ahead of time or weekly will help you to not be tempted to taste the food or smell foods you can’t have.

4. Sugar free doesn’t always mean no added sugar. Other name labels used for sugar include (Dextrose, Fructose, Galactose, Glucose, Lactose, Maltose, Sucrose).

5. Remember we are fasting not dieting! If you ever find that you are struggling and become extremely hungry, pray for discipline, and rely heavily on the Holy Spirit to guide you to endure to the end!!
