Here's how  we started.

Open Fire International Fellowship Church was founded by Dr. Lincoln and Dr. Apryl Coffie in November 2012. Starting out in the living room of their home, they began to see an increase in membership and moved the service into the garage. The ministry rapidly expanded, and services were moved to their first building at 322 E. Ave C in February 2013. With continued growth, 3 years later, the church moved to our current location at 1801 E. Rancier Ave in Killeen, Texas.
Dr. Lincoln G. Coffie MD.
Apostle Dr. Lincoln G. Coffie is the Senior Pastor of Open Fire International Fellowship and Overseer of Open Fire International Fellowship Network. He is also the Chancellor of Open Fire Bible College and a renowned international speaker. With over a decade of ministry, Dr. Coffie has been highly favored by God, seeing explosive growth and powerful outreach accompany his work.

Truly a pastor after God’s own heart, Dr. Coffie has a passion to feed and care for God’s people.  He is deeply committed to seeing wounded lives restored by the power of God, devoting himself to the personal growth and development of others. Anointed with the gift of healing and deliverance, his ministry has witnessed countless miracles both locally and internationally. Through his labor in the Word, he continues to proclaim the undiluted truth in and out of season, always pointing men and women to Christ with a special grace and revelatory teaching style.

In 2024, Dr. Coffie was affirmed as an Apostle, further establishing his call as a leader of leaders. With a mandate to revitalize desolate cities according to Isaiah 54:3, he and his wife, by God’s grace, alongside faithful destiny helpers, have launched several initiatives to impact their community. These include the opening of a food truck park, an automotive repair shop, and, most recently, fulfilling a 20-year need in the region, the establishment of Killeen Family Medicine + Urgent Care Clinic on September 19, 2025.

Dr. Coffie’s background is as diverse as it is impactful. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science from Baylor University in Waco, TX, and went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He also served as Medical Director for the Killeen Free Clinic. In addition, he obtained a Doctorate of Divinity from Real Knowledge Bible College. He is joyfully married to his lovely wife, Dr. Apryl, and together they are the proud parents of four children: Lincoln Jr., Lindel, Lael, and Ethan.
